Vacation: a balancing act

Well for the next week I am on vacation with my boyfriend. Staying in hotels can make it difficult to avoid processed foods for sure, but it’s all about balance. Yes, I packed healthy snacks (leftover almost-healthy brownies, nuts, and homemade energy bars), but I also had a side of Mac n cheese with dinner. I’m human, after all!

But in general I choose healthy, real foods. I know that the couple of weeks a year I am on vacation aren’t going to break me. And when I get home, my taste buds exhausted and my wallet empty from dining out day in and day out, I am downright excited to get back in the kitchen.

I won’t have many, if any,  posts this week, but I might post a few photos on my Facebook page, so if you haven’t already, like it to see some updates!
