A Real Food Super Bowl

It’s not that hard to serve real food at your Super Bowl party (or any party)! Here is a round-up of my favorite party foods that you won’t be ashamed to serve your friends. Not a cool ranch Dorito in sight.

Of course it ain’t a party (at least in my house) without some guac.

And some hummus for the rest of those chips (or cut-up veg, of course).

It’s cold out. You need chili.

Who can say no to a tiny burger?

Smoked wings much better than those fried ones you ordered last year that lost their crunch before kickoff.

Make some apple or Mexican slaw for a healthy side.

For dessert you’ll need some brownies. Maybe cut them into football shapes — I won’t tell what you do with the trimmings.
