Excuses, excuses.

I must apologize for my extremely long absence. Sometimes, you know, life just takes up too much time. Case in point: In April, Scott and I got…..

A puppy! And ever since I have barely had time to cook, let alone write new blog posts for you guys. I can only imagine what it’s like for people with kids.

So what’s the only thing better than a new recipe? Puppy photos, of course!

Meet Atlas. He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and just the cutest, silliest, sweetest, smartest puppy ever. But maybe I’m biased; judge for yourself!

At six weeks, the day we met him

He loves “helping” me cook, which mostly means getting in the way as much as possible while waiting for food to fall (it never does).

He’s great at riding in the car.

Wait a second...

Wait a second…

And loves playing with other pups.

He’s not all that crazy about water…

…But he’ll put up with it if it means he gets to solar charge after.

But more than anything, Atlas loves to sleep…

First day home was ruff

and sleep…

and sleep some more.

But rest assured, when he isn’t sleeping, he is probably getting into some sort of trouble!

Who, me??

Who, me??

Now that Atlas is coming out of the Extreme Puppy period, I hope to have more time to dedicate to this blog again. But who could blame me for wanting to spend every possible moment with this cuddlebug?
